Hi Gang,

Just thought I would check.

Is it necessary to re-download the whole beast for r49 again. Or is the IPM "Idiotic Package Manager" thing actually a working thing now that we can connect to and do incremental updates?

From R49 ChangeLog you can see that coffin got a new underlaying filesystem update, nothing that a downloader took can make.

Best option is to reimage with r49

Renaud: For future updates (where there is no change in the filesystem) the ipm will be functional? It would be very handy..

Any risk of needing to reflash the disk in future releases for something ipm cannot cope with?

only if Tuko decided to change file system again, maybe if toni wilen updated pfs aio or a better file system came out amiga system using wb 3.x
