Hello Michael R,Could we just send money to the Apollo Core Team somehow? Otherwise, Raffaele over on AmigaWorld.Net, from what I read, seems to run Amiga bounties to raise money for when a certain project gets completed, the software author gets paid. Not the same thing, but perhaps a pooling of money there, and then it's sent as a lump sum amount to Apollo Core Team about once every 3 months? (There is no target for them to get that money, it's just sent to them periodically.) In that scenario, people could see if there are people supporting the project or not, because he publicly shows how much has been raised. I asked before, if people would want to contribute to the awarding of a Vampire standalone motherboard to someone that could greatly help the community if it got into their hands, but that guy was reluctant to "get back into the scene" for whatever reason. Someone such as Dave Haynie, for example. Would an enhanced recompiled version of Rebol be something desirable to have? If a lot of money was raised, maybe they would use it for that, or possibly enough to make an ASIC? Of course, they could just use it to reward themselves for all of the time and grunt work they put into delivering a FABULOUS project to us, too. (It would be better if they made an ASIC and expected us to send them MORE money. :-D)
