Sagasd.device Vs Compactflash.device

I have noticed that if I remove a CF Card from the PCMCIA slot
using CF0: (compactflash.device) the workbench icon disappears.

Can this behaviour be duplicated with the sagasd.device?
It would save the need for mount/unmount scripts?

At the present if I remove a card from SD0: (sagasd.device)
it appears as a ghosted icon.

Thank you...

I know what you want, and this is exactly how it works already. If you run ApolloOS then it works 100% like you want. So yes the sagasd.device does do this already. We have to check what in your setup is causing the ghost.

I retract what I wrote. This behaviour is only exhibited under WinUAE. On my Amiga 600 there is no icon if the SD Card is not inserted. What a Boob!

  Thankyou...
