| Hello all, I'm trying to setup the StarTech.com 40 Pin Female IDE to SATA Adapter Converter - Connect a SATA device to an IDE controller - IDE to SATA Converter (IDE2SAT25) to allow a slot loading CD-ROM drive in my Checkmate A1500 case. The Firebird will not boot with this installed. Has anyone got this to work on their system or found a way to add SATA support a different way?
