I get today my new Vampire V1200 from RELEC. After installing it in the Trapdoor I tried to boot. This didn't working, because the Vampire isn't regognized by the system. The Computer was started with the 68020, but the system was installed for a 68030 (Blizzard).
Now the question. May it be, that the Vamp isn't flashed when it will delivered??

You should ask Relec, but I suppose that if they sell v1200 without USB Blaster the core should be pre-charged. If not you have no way to use your card.

Are there any LED's on the V1200? Also try reseating the card.

The PWR is blue and the ACT is red. The V-Logo-LED isn't on

What exactly indicates the V-LED? As a core is present?

Yes I think so, but I am not 100% certain. My V1200 from Relec had a core installed and the V-LED was on.

No 100% sure, though I think the act led should be green and maybe flashing

Reaction from dealer: the cards are empty… just like I suspected

Isn't that just a little bit wrong?

I feel really sorry that you have this inconveniences. As you all know, Igor has withdrawn from the Apollo-Team. And so the team is out of the loop of this.
In my opinion Benoit just started this sales and did not expect the cards being empty. That Igor send him empty cards was not well communicated. I will contact Benoit from Relec and offer him help to solve this.
