| Having a non-recapped Amiga 1200 I find both the Vampire 1200 and the stand alone interresting.I understand making the SA complete comes before upgrading the others. My main question is if the 1200 variant will have everything the SA has later on when it also gets Gold 3, or if some features will always be missing? I'm mostly interrested in having full Super-AGA with better sound etc. :)

| Question already answered by Gunnar, the FPGA of the Vampire accelerators are too small to fit all V4SA features.

Ok, so is it possible to fit the Cyclone 5 FPGA on the 1200 card in the future?

| The V500 (and V600?) use an EP3C40 (with 39,600 logic elements) but the V1200 uses an EP3C55 (with 55,856 logic elements). So there is more space on the V1200 FPGA than the others but not as much as on the V4SA and I don't now if the V1200 uses extra space for it's features. Making the core 3 work fully the with rest of the Amiga (external memory, mouse, floppy, PCMCIA etc) would also probably use space not required by the standalone but then there is stuff in the standalone core not needed on the accelerators (USB, ethernet).
