| Hello vampires, I got one of the v1200 boards from Igor and every seems to work as expected, the only issue I have is the ethernet module. According to the instruction I found I bought this module. EXTERNAL LINK Then I used a 10 pin jtag cable to attach to the vampire. See my photo EXTERNAL LINK After connection I run the check utility under coffin , this is the result EXTERNAL LINK It seems to me that the chip is not recognized, it's not roadshow fault or whatever, maybe the adapter does not work or ... i really dont know how to proceed, changed 2 different cables and even OS, this thing does not start, i only see a steady red light on the eth module, that is all. Anyone here has some suggestion on how to troubleshoot?

| thank for the reply, actually i didnt install roadshow because the problem is not software related, according to the tool the chip is not recognized and i think is useless trying to setup roadshow until v2expethtest succeed, or at least this is what is stated here https://wiki.apollo-accelerators.com/doku.php/system_tools:ethernet

| It looks like you have connected it the right way. Is the module hot at all? If it is connected the wrong way it gets pretty hot pretty quick. I have the feeling that the module might be dead.

| the module is not dead because the D1 led is on (red light as you can see from the picture). What is dead is the 2 light on the rj45 connector. The seller states that it's almost impossibile that the chip is dead. I could buy anotherone from another seller and see how it behaves.

| It is not just about that chip is dead or not, there could be lot of other things wrong with module connected with soldering parts on it or some microfracture in PCB. However it could be related also to V card but so far this didn't happen.

| bought another module from another seller, same model, same product. Connected to v1200 doing nothing i see the switch light coming to life. Installed roadshow and the v2expeth.device file, set up my static ip address, dns and routes, after 5 minutes i was online. I spent a whole weekend figuring out what i was doing wrong. Sorry for the people I bothered with my issue and thx to the vampire discord channel for the support.
