Maybe crazy question but here goes :) Is there anyway to speed up the EtherNet port on the V4 SA? Thanks.

"speed up" ??
like gigabit? .. or just make transfers run faster?

Make transfers a little bit faster.

There likely is some speed tweaking that can get done, but not sure how much of that is caused by the limitation on the SPI bus itself assuming that is the method used for the V4SA, like the other vampires with the external ethernet modules.

The V4SA has physically a NIC on board and can do 100 MBit Ethernet. The V4SA Ethernet core can do 64bit DMA and reach the full speed of the 100Mbit. The V4 Ethernet core also supports HW CRC offloading - but this it not supported by Amiga OS drivers right now.
As of today the limit is mainly in the driver/ Ethernet stack using on AMIGA. Here is still big tuning potential.
