What Is the Current State of RTG/SAGA On 500 V2+?

I'm having some trouble figuring out what the current state of the RTG/SAGA implementation is with the Gold build. My questions boil down to 2, I think:

1. Does the current state of the core allow for 100% usage of the DIGITAL-VIDEO port or is it still necessary to switch back and forth between RGB and DIGITAL-VIDEO?

2. Is my understanding correct that SAGA will essentially provide AGA capabilities on an Amiga 500?

The V2 is currently shipped with "GOLD2"
This means all V2 are Accelerators with Fast CPU/FPU and RTG.
 
The V4 comes with "GOLD3" which means it includes SAGA with AGA and RTG.
