Dear all,
I have read that from BIOS 2.9 the Vampire expansion port is operative. And I have also found out a special angled connector from Arananet to be used with a ENC28J60...
Does exist a driver for such a solution?
How much is the speed of the connection?
Are there other possibilities to use the expansion port (USB...)?
I have looked around but I have not found so many info... :(
Thank you

Which version of the V2+ do you have?  There are two versions, with the latest only requiring a simply cable rather than adapter.

As for the ethernet driver, if you install the SAGA driver's from the wiki, the ethernet driver is installed for you.  I would recommend however, that you install a newer Core version.  Version 2.11 is the latest.  The speed of this ethernet connection varies.  Some claim to get about 500KB/s.  I have not seen more than 350KB/s regularly.

You will find information here:

As for usb........I don't know of a module.  It is of course theoretically possible.  Just needs someone to write the driver and find a suitable module.

I have the version of the photo of the Vesalia (for example) site:
EXTERNAL LINK  The same expansion connector... I think I need the Arananet adaptor, right? The "Vhat" adaptor, correct?
In the Arananet site I read I mustn't use a 5V module... how can I recognize it is a 5V module and not a 3.3V one? :(

You need to read the description before buying.  There are some photos here on our wiki of some 3.3v versions

https://wiki.apollo-accelerators.com/doku.php/vampire:emc_enc28j60

The seller of such modules should write if it is a 3.3v version or not.  If the description of the product doesn't mention this, simply ask.

Here is an example of a correct module:

EXTERNAL LINK
