| For those of us with a floppy drive in our A1200 what's the solution for an IDE adapter that fits properly?

| Simplest option would be to use one that has a cable. Until someone makes a compatible one in the correct orientation.

| all my CF adapters have a male IDE header, so need a 2.5" drive cable to connect - that'll give me the clearance for the floppy drive. otherwise i may be able to finally use some of my horizontal 32gig DOM units, as they clash with the power choke and caps on the standard IDE port of the A600/1200. so i've only been able to use one on my V500.

Yes cable is better, that IDE to CF adapter barely fits in there, because V1200 has own connectors under it.

Actually yes, DOM could be worth of try if you can find small enough. *edit: Note the size.

With the DOM maybe you can't put the keyboard on it.... Maybe is better this adaptor: INTERNAL 44-PIN SD CARD IDE ADAPTER A1200 / A600 on Amigakit.com

It is currently not in use, neither PCMCIA or clockport because GAYLE implement is not fully finished yet.

Maybe the angle with that adapter goes towards the connectors for the floppy or towards the shield of the A1200 but it would be better if it went towards the inside of the V1200

| I have made one. It's on the way. It moves the CF at bottom of the v1200.

| Actually clockport is already working.

| PCMCIA not working is alarming. To be honest I'm wondering how and why gayle can apparently be shut off.
