| Hi, Just got a Vampire V4 and everything seems to be working fine, except I cannot seem to control any of the games. I tried first using a Competition Pro Joystick (9 pin) that I used on my MiST, but only the fire button seems to be working (no directions). I also tried to use the USB controller that came with my Vampire, but no button seems to work. Is there any place in the device where I can configure/troubleshoot my controllers? Thanks. P.S.: For the record, I tried playing IK+ and Lotus 2.

Please make sure to set your APOLLO USB JOYPAD to "D" mode. D'Amiga mode. The switch is on the back. Each V4 is 100% tested, including both DB9 ports. DB9 Joystick will work when you plug only the DB9 joystick. If you plug the USB Joypad in parallel then it will "over-right" the DB9 one. Cheers

| Thanks for the quick reply. Regarding the controller, after switching it to D mode, it works perfectly. The Competition pro works perfectly if I use it in port 2, but on port one only the fire button works. Not sure if this is a bug of the game, but I'll try with more games and come back to report. I have a couple of questions though: - I've been turning the vampire off to swap the joystick ports (DB9), can I do it with the unit turned on, or should I always do it with it off? - Is it possible to map another button of the controller to the up button? Thanks

All four buttons (RED/BLUE/YELLOW/GREEN) are mapped. Many CD32 games already support using 2nd Button for Jump. (For example Bubble and Squeak)

Can you explain this idea more? What do you like to do? And what result do you want?

| For example, I would like to map F10 key on the joypad button in Desert Strike. Possibility mapping keys could be useful in many games.
