| I'm happy to announce that I am ready to launch the pre-order campaign for my game Heimdall. Here's a 20-minute video showing gameplay, explaining the technology roadmap and other games that can be built using my engine within next year: EXTERNAL LINK Here's a PayPal link where you can show your interest in a build for either Vampire, 68060 or 68040 : EXTERNAL LINK I'm happy to answer your questions here.

Correct. Once the final build is ready, you will receive the download link.Because 68060 has a lot of different RAM configurations, I will implement a more generic dynamic memory allocation, so the 128 vs 512 MB RAM shouldn't be a problem as I will need to get it to work on 16 MB RAM there and much less RAM on 68040.

| I forgot to say in the video that PayPal obviously gives anybody opportunity to withdraw and ask for refund at any time. It's probably a well-known fact, but I figured I'd mention it.

| I think any racing game could be cool, but in Amiga game library we already have a good formula one 3d game (Geoff crammond's one) and several outrun clones (cannonball, lotus turbo, ecc),so a Need for speed style game seems more appealing to me... And a StarFox-type game, of course would be epic!

| Very cool you made it so far already! Personally I like these kind of games and I'd like to see a Vampire pimped version, with higher resolution. It would be awesome to see a remake of Formula One Grand Prix or Indianapolis 500, but in high resolution.

Yeah, it was already pointed out to me at other forum :)The name was available on Jaguar two years ago when I came up with it. Obviously, I should have researched it two months ago for Amiga. So, it's a working title for now :)

| Thanks. In a week, when I get back, I will be a zombie anyway, given I spend over 4 days in airports out of seven. But, I can at least start checking other forums. I heard there's quite a few German ones too.

| Well, I don't think I would sign up for a full simulation. Just a detailed physics model might take 4-6 months in itself. But, there's plenty Arcade formula games that are doable. I could have two modes: arcade and realistic. And while the realistic model wouldn't compute each wheel separately, there's a lot of features that can be done within 4-6 weeks that would make it quite different to the arcade model. Just not F1GP level... Pole Position was always my favorite. And there's another one - TX-1 or something - if I recall correctly. It had three monitors in Arcades. That one would be a great candidate for HiRes.

| I just signed up for the Vampire version of PreOrder. I hope you are prepared for the "omg! you are asking the price of a AAA game for an Amiga game!! It should be free!" The same noise have hit people like Richard (Reshoot) and Vampire/Apollo team. Since you have lurked forums for a while Im sure you are ready for it, and will just ignore it :) As for game; all the games looks fun, but I have a particular intrest in Wipeout if I had to pick from that list. The 3D game(s) I remember from Amiga was Powermonger and Simulcra. Simulcra YT video/longplay: EXTERNAL LINK A general comment; like with people like the Diablo1 conversion team, Netsurf, AROS development etc; they need to be supported, if we want progress/new products within a meaningful timeframe. So thats why I personally support people that show actual plans and progress. And we cant compare it to "mainstream" HW and SW efforts.

| Thanks. You are right. I expect some "arguments" that Steam games are $4.99 and iPhone games are $0.99. Nevermind the four-five orders of magnitude of difference in market size... As long as I create something that is on par with the commercial releases of the era, then it's a non-argument for me. Also, the $50 in 2020 is same value as $25 in 1990. Regardless, it still should be obvious to everyone that earning a fraction of my last salary is still going to be a monumental challenge.

| That Simulcra game looks really awesome. Phenomenal design and exceptionally detailed for 7 MHz! Don't understand how I missed this when researching flatshaded Amiga games.

| I have a request. When the game is completed and ready to be released could you include a CD cover and label so we can build a phisical copy of your game?

| Going to preorder today. It needs A LEAST 640x480 in 2020. If 960x540 renders good on the V4/V2. Go for it :-) Looking forward to your games. I love car racing. So yeah, with good physics, good detail. Like Skidmarks back in the day.

CD? I don't understand. Is CD ROM perhaps still used on tower systems? I thought they all converted to SD cards? When I was checking out some printing companies for a game box for Jaguar, it appeared from my initial research that it's going to be hard to get a box printed &shipped under $20. At least in sub-50 quantities. Then again people routinely spend $50 on an empty box... I sure plan on having one on my PRGE stand this August. I don't really want to spend my time collapsing and shipping boxes, though there's likely not many people that would display such box at home anyway, I reckon?

Thanks. I'm also very curious about V4's performance in higher resolution. Can't wait to network it and start deploying builds... Engine is mostly resolution independent. I already grab the resolution values from the system so I don't foresee any issues there.
