I just realized something...unlike Windows where a game must be installed all the registry have to be installed....all I have to do is...is burn the entire data files and all the other files for diablo in a CD or DVD and burn the Amiga executable and I can run it directly from DVD/CD and save on hard drive! THAT IS HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Is possible a CPU to support Little and big Endian by setting it, to not have to fix the data or to use slow C functions to convert on the fly?

Yes, this is possible. In fact APOLLO 68080 supports both BIG-ENDIAN and LITTLE-ENDIAN MOVE instructions. So there is nothing slow about doing Little-Endian access on 68080. But of course AMIGA-OS is a Big-Endian OS, and running a Little-Endian application inside a Big-Endian OS does not work like this. The Amiga DIABLO porting team does the right job at the moment. They locate Endian issues and fix them. This is the typical work a good porting team does. Lets wish them all the luck, so that we soon have one more cool game on 68k AMIGA.

| @John William I have many portable programs and games on my USB-Stick that runs on Windows without any installation. Just copy the files and start the app.

I do not know why but that concept gets me all hot all over!!! Something about using USB or optical drive just gives the feel that they are large sized floppy disks heheheh AND THAT TICKLES ME FANCY! I am picturing my optical dvd drive going...... Fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff and then tic tic tic taac tic tic tic tic...ffffffffffffff..tic tic tic teeek tic tic tic as it is reading Diablo files as I am playing the game and feeling the vibration and heat emanating from the optical drive! By the time I am done playing the game...the DVD/CD disc is toasted..... HURRRY TEAM...I WANT TO PLAY DIABLO ON MY AMIGA....HUUURRRRYY!!

[...] | Thank you for your answer Gunnar. This should help a lot for "NDOS" games ports running at boot from Amiga Vampire (or Little Endian AROS?).

| Far better than expected - runs the machince a X12 core or higher?

| That was with the V600 Gold212 RC2 x12 core. I forgot to adjust gamma value before recording the video, it's a bit too dark now.

There are many places in DIABLO to fix Endianess. The team did excellently work on this. As you see the game starts to work really well now. But there is more work to done before its fully finished.

| Great work! In addition to Homeworld (version 1), Diablo 1 is my alltime favorite PC game during the infancy of PC gaming.

Please, next time record A600 or WB at start or end. This way this could be DOS Box or 486/Pentium running Diablo 1.09 (which is last bugfix, so nice)

| a) Its then believiable. b) Good Vamp presentations used to have it - world premiere, manuels presentations, Vampire Bring on games like Stunt Car Racer, emuTOS presentation ... (hardware) and most of Vamp s/w video presentations include Coffin/OS 3.9 WB screen and run, or similar.
