Hopefully we can select scan lines on the fly for these cases (or for folks like me who just dont like fake ones)

Yes, some way of configuring the scanlines as a WHDLoad tooltype would be handy. :)But the videos are very impressive nonetheless. It seems like it is maturing very nicely.

| Very nice! Is it me or the color output is very different between the A1200 and Vampire?Vampuire seems to give more solid colors, while A1200 seem to be watered down

| I use two different capture cards, one is for the Amiga's RGB signal and another one is for the Vampire's DIGITAL-VIDEO signal. These are not processed RAW captures, so color difference comes from this.

I also wonder how much brighter and sharper the Vampire image would be if the fake scan lines were turned off.. seems to dim the image quite a bit..

| Does the AGA Integration negate the need for 2MB Of chipram to run AGA software? How about ECS? (I have a NTSC Rev 5 .. 512KB On board, and the 512KB trapdoor expansion which I know can be used as chipram with the right chips/wiring. Getting to 2MB though really isn't feasible :( ). CLICK HERE

The integration of AgA within the Vampire inheret that the chipset now offer you more CHIP Ram. In the test core there had been shown 4MB Chip Ram. This kind of chip ram is within the Vampire and will be used when displaying everything (ECS/AGA/RTG/SAGA) through DIGITAL-VIDEO.

Honestly its this stuff eg more chipram / aga / rtg / DIGITAL-VIDEO that excites me the most about the vampire.. the CPU stuff is nice but to me, this is going to make the biggest impact personally. Just amazing my old OCS 512kb A500 (stuck with NTSC) will now have so much more capability/flexibility.

| One question: why 4 MB of chip RAM, not 6 MB? (I understand the 8 MB would block the PCMCIA on A600 or A1200)
