V4 Accelerators Now With 8 MB Chipmem Option

The recent cores of our accelerator range: Firebird, Icedrake, Manticore, provide now the option to use 8MB chipmem.

How ? It's a software switch, or a core specific feature, i.e. we have to flash specific core ?

The recent BETA-Cores provide this feature.
 
The general idea is that you can run the accelerator cards in 2 modes

a) Mainboard mode.
Here the video signal of the old games comes out of the Amiga mainboard
 
b) SAGA/AGA mode, in this mode the games show over DIGITAL-VIDEO.
In this mode you also have access to over 8 MB chipmem
