| Well...technically Jurassic Park is compatible with the Vampire since the 3D levels DO work with the "NoCache" tooltype. Jurassic Park spitting the dummy with tooltype "Cache" on, might have more to do with the fact the game is running on a significantly faster CPU than an 060, but that's just a theory.

| Come on, we don't have a Vampire to play this kind of game like on a vamilla 1200. ;)

| It appears there are several versions of this game. EXTERNAL LINK Has another version been tested? Some of these games wont work well on real 040+ hardware and require fixes and different versions might work better or worse.

| Yes, tried all of these versions. ...even the original disk version. Need to test the old JST install, though. Can't find a working link... The WHDload version works fine on 060 and it's really fast.

| It might be worthwhile adding an entry to that Mantis bug report mentioning that the 3D levels crash on the Vamp with Cache on. Having said that, one thing I noticed is that when you turn off Superscalar using "VControl SS 0" the 3D levels in Jurassic Park will play even with the "Cache" tooltype, BUT they will still be slow. I genuinely think it's the slave to be honest, but I am by no means an expert on these things. :)

It was very fast on my old A4000/060 via WHDload.

Some people report it is fine on real hardware, some don't. EXTERNAL LINK Hard to understand what is happening. I had an A4000/060 and it was a real pain to play some games on it. Not saying it isn't a Vampire issue but finding the problem can be very difficult.

Yes, I think it's the Vampire AND the slave. http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?p=1531624#post1531624

| One thing I do know, is that I have become hooked on the Jurassic Park game because of this thread. :)
