Great work team! ;)

Gunnar said a V2 update in January and true to his word, here it is.

Is there a changelog text file around anywhere?

OK so I've just tried this on my V600 V2............

..........and it's freakin fantastic!!!

Thanks guys for the update!!! You weren't wrong when you said that there was increased compatibility!

WHDLoad versions of games like "Interphase" and "Days of Thunder" now work!!

Just for some feedback:

In case anyone is able to look at it, I tried another game, "Infestation" which has the following error during the opening animation sequence:

"Exception "Line 1111 Emulator" ($2C) at $1E248 occurred."

Have tried the following tooltypes:
  NoCache
  ExpChip

Awesome work guys!!

What about FPU bug in shapeshifter (wolf3d, dark force)? Is it working now?

On GOLD2.15 V1200_8557-20220123_0725C.jic

Whdloaded-Demo 9Fingers is Running better in this Release (2.15) (Vcontrol TU=2 as Option)

On 2.13 it was Running way too fast…  (used Vcontrol TU=2 as Option too ), so 2.15 has Potential. Thank you.

Some demos still don't work and have graphic glitches like Rise and Shine by Elude.

Disable Vampire FPU the Start Shapeshifter
C:VControl FP=0

Put SoftFPU in System Folder ->Extensions

SoftFPU see that VampireFPU is off and Emulate an FPU ->Games works now

Thanks. FPU on V4 (icedrake) works better? Or V4 has the same problem. Thx.

I don't have an USB Blaster, and i don't have the intention to buy one, because i wil hardly ever use it again.
Can we expect a executeble update as well?

You can always flash the JIC also from commandline.
So you can do what you want already.

But having a Blaster is always recommended.

Yeah this is handy. You can do it with VampireFlash in the latest SAGADriver 2.8 found here:
EXTERNAL LINK
I was getting sick of having to open up my Amiga every time to flash a JIC file. :D

Any chance for an x12 release?

Thanks

There is option in Coffin to flash, can we use that?

in coffin, you have just to double click on the jic file and vampireflash is launched.

Hi guys, have some issues using the new 2.15 jic release.

After flashing the new core using the usb blaster, the computer will not boot.

Can hear the vampire music-tone at power up.On the DIGITAL-VIDEO output I have the vamp logo and the release ver at the bottom corner, but never get the startup image or any output on the amiga rgb port.

The computer will no try to boot from floppy or ide.

Reflashing the older R214 core will return the computer to working condition again.

Hey there, I have an interesting issue. I think I have the original V2 600 (green board). I've put the capacitors on it and I've upgraded to 2.15. I think my board might have been an X10 but the JIC is an X11. It seems to work, but in ECS/OCS graphics mode, I get vertical lines appearing on the screen randomly, and it seems to crash a bit more often then it did with 2.12RC12. Any thoughts?

Turns out my power supply was a little lower than 5v (4.8) and I was able to tune it up to about 5.1v and now things are working.
