The ICEDRAKE works fine. * IDE works * SDcard works * Ethernet works
I can play videos, or listen to MP3 from SDcard as seen here in the screenshot

Yes, this is exactly how the cards are designed. Both the Firebird and the Icedrake have 2 IDE connectors. One 44pin connector for a fast CF card and one 40 pin for a CD/DVD drive or an old HD.
So if you have the space in your A500/A2000/A1200 case then you can attach an CD rom.
