Berating: to criticize or speak in an angry manner to someone

This is much closer to berating:

But your motivations are admirable nonetheless.  Nobody should be berated or humiliated for reasonable questions or points of views.  Look at the earlier posts though.  He got his answers in a friendly manor.  My later comments reflect my disbelief that someone could "shelve" an Amiga because they didn't like having two video outputs.  He clarified his point (and only then did he state his preference) and many of us (myself included), agreed.  If he left it at that.....this now dull thread would be an end.  The abuse was not needed at all.  It was his impatience and behavior is what led to his situation.  Not the "berating".  I salute your efforts here but in this case, you backed the wrong horse.  He buried himself.

I actually agree with Adam that all the cable salad is a pain. Im only using the DIGITAL-VIDEO/RTG part of the Vampire for that reason alone.

That said; having read aw.net, a.org, and both Apollo forum/irc (but any forum really on the net, unless heavily moderated) Ive learned that you will have to stomach a wide variety of people.

Most of the one you find offeding is probably just posting tounge in cheek, and the "joke was funny in my head" kinda people.

Here is a Good Workaround :
  CLICK HERE
You Only need Hires Denise a LCD with has VGA and DIGITAL-VIDEO you can use Commodore RGB to VGA Connector and this Workaround. Works Good

This is very true. We are all quite different, but where we are all the same is that we are ALL in the same boat. We all have to wait for the next core version to come out. I would love to see certain WHDLoad games wokring again, but I’m going to have to wait. In the meantime there are a million other things I can do with the Vampire that are fun, like getting online and playing Populous with my mate! :)

@Adam Whittaker. Hang in there mate, don’t give up. I know sometimes waiting can be painful, especially when you’re really looking forward to something, but it will be worth it. All I can suggest is, if possible, drag out the Amiga again, just endure the inconvenience for a little longer and enjoy the fun of the Vampire along with the rest of us.

Really?  It is really too much effort?  Really?  So you packed up your entire amiga and put it away because you couldn't solve dual video outputs?  Wow!  Guess you really are impatient.

Seems this was the source of trouble. I also have a lot of AGA apps and games waiting, but have to wait.

Release is now "delayed" for SIX days. Please wait until the end of the month.

Dammmn you hit the nail in all directions right...on....this...spot. I do not think anyone else could have answered it any better than that!

I have a simple SCART->DIGITAL-VIDEO box which cost all of 15 Euros which allows me to switch between DIGITAL-VIDEO and SCART with the press of a button.  Not a "pain in the arse" at all.  Took me all of 2 minutes of googling to find it.  Another few minute to order it.  A a few more to install it.  About the same time as it takes you to write all of these posts.

Criticize in an angry manner, yeah does fit. Also no need to attempt to mock me. It's that sort of attitude that puts people off forums, it's really not needed.
It's up to you but I personally would prefer that people were not put off the forum, it could be that one person that could make a difference that decides not to contribute due to your mocking.
Anyhoo, I have said all I have to say, troll away.

I have read all of the above comments and feel I should say sorry for both the foul language and having an outburst!!! I was annoyed that people mistook me saying I have shelved my Amiga as some kind of strop/paddy I probably should have clarified it was down to me needing to cut down on cable stew and save space!!! The 2 video outputs is the most annoying thing about my vamped 600 at the moment - I have a rather buggy indivision wedged in the expansion slot and it never looks right as I cant run the config software as both this and the vamp dont play well together... as for the adapters and converters I have tried these in the past too with various levels of success!!! So yes I am dissapointed that there is still no Gold 3 but please dont have me down as a petulant child wanting sweeties before dinner!!! it really is just a case of I love using my miggy and as it stands its a pain in the arse!!!

Child down Adam, wait might be longer then six days, but even with delays, team has a proven record of delivery.

I know they do - but as I said would be nice to get a member of the team to weigh in on this.

Erm..I am actually part of the belly of the beast. I am part of the team member in the private channel with the elite and I cannot get them to weigh on this for me! LOL!

So don't even fret! If I am inside the gut of all of *I* can't them to weigh on this...what about a person outside the spaceship core itself? Heck...even THEY the main author...the CEO or owner of the project the one themselves working on it right now...they themselves cannot weigh on it to themselves, let alone me been part of the belly of the beast let alone the average Joe outside all of that!

Stay tuned.

There’s a bunch of AGA content out there. I’m not surprised beta testing and bug fixing takes time. Might it have even been a bit ambitious of the team to say it would be done and released by now? Maybe. Maybe not. Who knows? Patience is a virtue

Patience people, btw astronomically summer ends 23rd September at 01:54 Central European time.
Therefore they are not late yet.
But I prefer late but stable, then buggy core.

While the AGA stuff is certainly cool, honestly im in it for the more than 512kb chip ram (and no, doing a mega chip mod to my A500 is not an option, I only do non destructive reversible mods to THIS amiga, as its my original-original, 1st amiga that I, my self, actually purchased new) .. its an older rev mobo so its not easy to add more chip to it.

But when do you change from Summertime to Winter time?

In 2018, you do the 1 hour adjustment 28th of October. So :)

Really? People are not moaning because a small dev team is longer than they thought , are they??

Come on people let’s get real.

You’ve waited 30+ years , a few months won’t hurt you.

Respect to the team.

Where has the patience gone ? I used  cassettes  on a c64 ... I know how to wait.
