Flashing Vampire A500 V2

Using USB flasher and Altera's Quartus II 13.1 programmer, The software is unable to see the Vampire board. I selected: Hardware setup and within it there was nothing listed.

1) Even though there are 2 ports marked Ethernet and Jtag, I am of course using the Jtag one for the ribbon cable.

2) I've used 3 different USB cables, still not recognised

3) I've tried (initially) The Vampire inside the Amiga and outside.

I am now at a loss at what could possibly be the trouble.

HELP!  lol

What OS do you use?
Windows? Linux?

Please mind also that to use the USB Blaster
you need the drivers for it to be installed.

The Vampire needs be inside the AMIGA and it needs be powered ON.

Vamp needs to be inside.

There are must follow steps when Amiga and vamp needs to be on and when off.

If you can boot to AmigaOS, just download aos3 exe and enjoy the magic.

Jic files, quartys sw, USB and JTAG is for brick sits and Dev cores

I am using Windows 10. Found driver and installed it. I now am able to see the USB Blaster in the Programming software. However, I am halting any further actions until I am 100% sure of what I am doing.

With the Vampire installed, I get a workbench that loads very fast from my IDE attached CF card displayed on my Amiga monitor. On the [DIGITAL-VIDEO] monitor I get the Red and Black Gold Apollo 2.11 Core AMMX picture that just stays there.

You will need to install the Picasso96 driver and the Apollo Teams SAGA driver if you want to be able to display your workbench on the DIGITAL-VIDEO monitor using RTG screen modes. Instuctions are in the Apollo CPU Wiki site.
