So given there's a rom on coffin. Does my V4SA actually do have an aros rom and is coffin softkicking to 3.1? It would be great if there was a bit more info on the wiki regarding the V4SA.

Yet R55 is being advertised on ebay already, and according to the advert it's for V600 and V500.

Given what I've read here, this could surely cause problems if whatever has been released is not for this series of Vampire cards.

See first two posts here, a bit of removal of V4 ROM install, having latest V2 core and you are up.

Will they offer separate torrent with this corrected, is unknown.

There's another glitch.
You have to save ahi prefs at every boot to get sound from some software (mawi-kloea, quake,..)
If you don't save ahi prefs they play with no sound/music at all..

If we are reporting bugs - if you use MCP to change the title Bar (I like to have it display the kickstart rom) when you hit save you get recoverable alerts that eventually crash the system and on reboot become full blown red guru's!

Ok, but an official release will be done for Coffin R55, and the web page updated, I suppose.

It can be written to a blank card, sector by sector. It's partition or better hdd image.

It's not iso DVD image that can be mounted.

Use advised tools

AmigaOS can mount the images but given the size it would take a lot of RAM

This is an HD image so you can use a PC program that writes HD images.

I have try on my windows pc all the three imager you have linked, like the SD imager and so on.
Nothing works.
I only get a few couloured stripes and after a few second only black screen.
I am very desperate i did not get my V4 to run.
My V2+ works very fine but my V4 show me only black screen.
Is there something i can do?

If you have an SD that works on V4 make a copy (cloning), then with WinUAE format and copy the content of CoffinOS.

AH, ok... it's not the image that's the problem. It's the display resolution/settings that the Coffin image is trying to invoke. I'm having the same issue on mine...

First off, Confirm that you can get into the fast boot menu - while holding both mouse buttons, turn the V4 on. Hold them for about 5 seconds and you should get the fast boot menu up on the screen...

If that works, try powering on without anything in the CF slot - you should get a kickstart screen after a bit.

This confirms video works, it's just the resolution/frequency it's trying to go into isn't supported by your display.

Boot while holding down Left Shift which will load WB in PAL. Change screen mode to PAL High Res. Save. Reboot. Now you can start experimenting with RTG modes supported by your TV/Mon.
Enjoy your V4!
