Getting Online With Coffin

Hi All

Can anyone offer me advice to get my V500 online.

My setup has a ENC28J60 connected to the i/o expansion port using the HAT from arananet.

The setup looks like its connect to the Vampire OK - I have a red light on the 28J60 and orange/green activity lights on the network port when the network cable is plugged in.

On the software side I have the latest Coffin and saga drivers. With Coffin using the pull down menus I've added v2expeth as the interface and selected then selected online.

Any browser I use is showing nothing and I cannot ping my router. Is there more configuration required with Coffin/Roadshow?

I've tried Miamidx and I get a Sana-ii 3,1 error once I select v2expeth.device - Miami freezes so I have to reboot.

Any thoughts where I might be going wrong?

Hi Mattie
Only thing i can think of is to disable roadshow, reboot en try miami again. if that doesnt work try genesis. If i get stuck in Miami, Genesis normally works - I need to get my head wrapped around Roadshow but sometimes it looks like rocket surgery ;)

Best things is NOT to use two TCP/IP stacks.

So REGISTER Roadshow or disable it and use MiamiDX/Genesis.

Stick with roadshow, it's the best tcp/ip stack for the Amiga and well worth registering. It might take a bit of configuration but once it's working it's rock solid.

In fact, I'm using it right now as I browse with IBrowse on my V600/core 2.10 :)

I disabled roadshow (and removed it for good measure) and installed Miami .. works fine .. and I can easily browse the web no problems.
