Hi Guys,

I have been struggling for hours with this I hope you can help out.

I own a vampire v2 and A600. I installed Gold 2.9 (unfortunately black and white because I forgot to register...)

I downloaded coffin r52 and unpacked the iamge to a 32 gb CF card. The card boots up fine on the Amiga.

However I want to modify the card with my own software (games etc.) I usually did that through winuae. But when I insert the CF in my cardreader on pc  Winuae only recognizes 387M card and does nothing with that. It doesnt boot at all. I tried everything. I just get the kickstart screen.

In windows the CF reader recognizes 2 drives (EMUTOS & FREEMINT) what are those? they are also not visible in WinUAE but solely in windows.

Can anyone help me?

    a) Coffin uses PFS which is not out of box supported on Kickstarts (simple Amiga emulation). So if you wish to "add files via UAE" (why not on real Amiga when having one?) you would need OS 3.5 and latest PFS from Aminet or AmiKit and PFS installed in you WinUAE by using Hard disk file, not just kickstart file to run emulation. Read a bit more about advanced UAE settings (or simply buy AmiKit X or use AmiKit free)

    b) Those EMUTOS etc. are FAT16 partitions thus seen, and they are used for Atari emulation. Your Vampire is also "fastest Atari without Atari chipset" (limiting it to FreeMINT apps).

    Browse more in this fora or simply search for FreeMINT and ATARI. You will be a bit surprised.

    c) You can resolve your registration individually by contacting Renaud Schweingruber. As soon as you do it, sooner you will be able to get new core update in colour.

    Other option is to revert to CORE 2.5, and AmigaOS 3.1+SAGA driver pack to enjoy world in colour. However, since GOLD3 is coming, its better to register.

Its more easy to use a fat32 formated microSD Card.

Format your SD card on PC to FAT32 fileformat in normal way. Do not use any Amiga tools like HDToolBox, SDMount or Giggledisk.

  Make sure you have:

            DEVS:sagasd.devive (v0.9 05/05/2016)
            L:fat95 (v3.18 03/01/2013)
            DEVS:DOSDrivers/SD0
            DEVS:DOSDrivers/SD0.info

  Make sure that your DEVS:DOSDrivers/SD0 mountlist uses partition geometry autosense, its contents must be like this:

            FileSystem    = l:fat95
            Unit          = 0
            Flags          = 0
            LowCyl        = 0
            HighCyl        = 0
            Surfaces      = 1
            BlocksPerTrack = 1
            BlockSize      = 512
            Buffers        = 20
            BufMemType    = 1
            BootPri        = 0
            Stacksize      = 4096
            Priority      = 5
            GlobVec        = -1
            DosType        = 0x46415401
            Device        = sagasd.device

No prob. Oh, if you use 2.9 core, you can try Atari world. You need to connect joystick. Press FIRE-buttons on Power-ON will boot EMUTOS (ATARI OS)

Martin you mean use a SDCard for transferring files from my pc to the amiga and keep the CF in the amiga?
