Hi there :)

What happens if you try to run an AGA-game/demo?

No signal on RGB and an AGA screen on DIGITAL-VIDEO?

Hello Örjan,

Yes the Firebird does include the complete Super-AGA chipset.
The Super-AGA is Amiga OCS/ECS and AGA compatible.
The Firebird also includes 12 MB chipmem.

Both chipsets can run in "Tandem-mode"
This means they can display the same content on both Video out.
This is not doing with "snooping" the mainboard with wires.

This works like 2 people are singing the same song.
Both chipset work the same and both know the text and melody of the song and both can sing it in parallel.

The Super-AGA chipset can of course also display AGA
This means you can run AGA demos on it.
And you can also run truecolor WB, or play Super-AGA games like "JAKE &PEPPY" or "APOLLO-BLOCKS", or run NEOGEO emulator.

Of course the A500/A1000/A2000/CDTV display can not show such content.

My impression is that there are 2 types of user wishes.
A) Users which like to continue to play Giana Sister on their 1084.
B) User which like the option that Giana Sisters can now come out over the same digital signal as their high resolution workbench, and that they can use 1 cable to their monitor and not need to switch around, but that this all works automatically, and that they can now also play AGA games and demos.

I try to find a solutions which makes both types happy.
