| Is there any reason why it has not been released ?

| FPGA is now fully utilized, so rare V2 boards will work with the overclocked core. Maybe we could test it with the Gold 2.12RC2.

When we were discussing standalone cores, Gunnar did mention fail-safe x10 and STD x11 cores will be public, and overclocked ones Via irc on demand, likely because they Can cause minor incompatibilities. That is with v4 and more space. I cant say Is this general policy now. Yes, in past they have spoiled us with faster ones made public. This Is a bit speculative, other reason might be "ali powers towards v4 core, v2.12 core and maybe even Gold3 for v2 in the end". None Is official info, just sound reasoning.
