Ok, no winks :)
Boot support for sd card is really unexpected but nice.

Would this be a dual boot such as holding both mouse buttons on startup and selecting?

This is great news!  Thanks for the update Gunnar!  Was wondering if we will see support for more Chip RAM in a 2.x core?  For us 1000 users, this is a Holy Grail feature as we are stuck with 512K until Gold 3 comes along - although I do understand that it may be integral to the different architecture that makes up the Gold 3 core.  Just wondering...  :)

Very fast and nice feature updates. Most were expected, which does make honouring the promised very nice.

On Amiga side question is just HOW fast :-)

Great step towards Atari-users Vampirization

GameSupport? Elite Advanced and others that fail since 2.7.
Just asking :)

I like the above news. Does it already show a sign of live on ST mainboard?

Very nice.

Question, is there a plan to start testing the v500 2+ with Zorro II cards and developing an compatibility list?  The wiki comparability list right now is mostly v600 related.

Ethernet, SCSI, Serial/Parallel, Budda, etc.

Ethernet - I have 2 (x-surf, x-surf-100) and both work using Roadshow, so this might be a non-issue, but they should be added to the Wiki.

SCSI - I have 4 or 5 different cards and none allow me to access the CD-ROM drive.  If I jumper the autoboot the system wont boot.  If I disable autoboot, it is as if the card is not installed (probably because the *.device isn't loaded). Maybe I'm not knowledgeable enough, but if you need a tester, I'm here.

I don't care about the memory on those cards but some might, but the ability to use our old SCSI gear would be nice (CD-ROM, Scanner, multi-card reader, external HD, Jazz drive, etc.).

I don't think most of us would use these every day, so it can be a low priority, but being able to access the old files would be great.

Thanks!

Problem with Zorro cards, especially scsi cards seems to be a problem with DMA capable cards. So a GVP and A2091 scsi won´t work but a Oktagon 2008 works fine.
Sorry for Offtopic.

Nice!!
With 2.9 features a vampire can be put even on an Atari ST machine, seems to me..

While its not uploaded yet, there is SAGA driver v1.2
  2018-03-19 : SAGADriver.v1.2.lha

Soon the core will celebrate build 5000+

On sidenote: please put newest core on top of download list. Yes, its in BOLD and people might need other GOLD cores for their own reasons, but is a bit missleading.

I guess the weather in Germany was too good today .-). So no time for developing, hopefully. But next week, we all can stay at home without bad feelings...
