Link needs EXTERNAL LINK    EXTERNAL LINK
... But that is part of his-story ... of some 5 million units sold.
(June 1993 edition of Amiga Format).

We are now down to 2 000+ Vampires V2

  North America  700,000
  Australia & New Zealand  350,000
  United Kingdom  1,500,000
  Germany  1,300,000
  France  250,000
  Italy  600,000
  Other European Countries  150,000
  Rest of World  0

Since we now start again, latest Apollo Accel. number
is  "Already 2696 vampirized* people"

Hope v4 can double or triple that.

Where does that number come from?

You don't think they know how many units were sold? They make them, they should know.

Hope v4 can double or triple that.
We would have small, but active 68k community and hope some market and development (again).

That is more important that mass number, abused in CUSA marketing as "most sold home computer ever" (reffering to A500 sales compared to competition of that time). That wont happen again.

Err... let me clarify the "where" part.

I'm sure the team is capable of basic arithmetic - I'm wondering where this was stated.

Its semi official quote, information given if you go to purchase
section of Apollo accell. products page.

But is indicator of growing interest and sales.

Great, thanks... so this value represents expressions of interest as opposed to deliveries.

And yes, it's safe to say that many of us are awaiting V4 and especially the standalone version.

The ONLY thing holding Vampire sales back right now is NON-availability....

Whatever amount of sales that can be reached, lower the price, and the numbers will be higher!!

A high end Vampire WILL BE SALEABLE!!!!

It's looking really really good!
