Does being a geographer mean that one is too stupid to do electronics? No, of course not. I guess it's just reading, learning, trying and being persistent about it. Perhaps more people should do that and not just shy away saying "I can't, I'm just a ...". From my observation Igor likes to try new stuff (some would say "go on a tangent") with a lot of others watching and rolling their eyes thinking "why doesn't he leave this to the people who actually know how to do it..." :o) 2. Are you purely "digital" electronic? Or maybe do you have some "analog" bacground? |
Is this question related to the first question? Analogue circuit designers like to think of their art as being far more complex than digital circuit design. Of course, you can pursue both analogue and digital (and mixed-signals for that matter) design on a very simple or very complex level. 3. How (software) tool do you use from the beginning design Vampires? Is it possible to do this with open source? |
AFAIK Igor uses some commercial Windows software but the v4 was designed using KiCad. So yes, it is possible doing this with open source.
