| Hi,
I'm not too sure if this forum is the best place to ask these questions but here goes
Are there any plans on making a replacement amiga motherboard based on the apollo core CPU platform, and or the vampire platform.
Something similar to the planed Amiga 1200 reloaded board?
Currently I have 1 working A500, 1 broken A500 and 2 Broken A1200 amigas. I would prefer a brand new updated board, as finding a good working replacement board is becoming more and more expensive as time goes on.
Also relying on a old PCB, which may stop working at any time, i think limits the true potential of the Apollo core project.
Also if there was a full board replacement, it would mean people who are interested in the project would not have to try and source a suitable working donor machine to upgrade.
Also i cant seem to find any information on the A1200 vampire board, could any one point me in the right directionThanks Imran

| The 1200 vampire doesn't exist yet. Work is currently ongoing on the 500 board, which should be ready for production soon. After that, design work on the 1200 board will start. There has been discussion about a standalone board. I can't speak for majsta/BigGun/kippa, but I really hope it does happen, because I want one too :)
