Hey guys,
I dunno if A570 CD-ROM and Action Replay freezer (with slowing down) would work with my A500+ with Vampire V500 V2+? I was unable to test it yet, but maybe someone tried already?

P.S. I am sorry for wrong category :(

The extended ROM is already in use by the Vampire so those two peripherals won't work with the Vampire.

So, how You make vampire working with CDTV? A570 is same HW like CDTV contain.

Is there any chance for a patch to make it work? These pieces of hardware are simply great addition to Amiga 500.

I mean A570 and AR are really nice addition to Amiga 500. I missed them on A1200 - especially Action Replay :)

To get "Action replay" you need no hardware at all.
You can get this for free on Vampire.

And an IDE CD-ROM you can attach to the IDE of the Vampire - so this is included for free also.

All right then - regarding A570 it wouldn't be so classy and nice looking but you are right :)
Can you elaborate more about how would it be possible to have Action Replay freezer/ripper on Vampire?

Action replay is basically a "program" and a way to cause a "LVL7 IRQ" to call it.

An "action replay like code" we can put in our Kickrom.
And with a simple wire one could can create the IRQ. piece of cake.

A500 may be a good example how to do it, but CDTV? Did I really need to cut whole CD hardware? I know this type of CD is slow, and not really need in Amiga world, but it's integrated part of this rare machine and it's cool. Is there any way to keep it working with V4?

Would be great to have a debugger in rom like the one in winuae and can use it while developing demos/games that take the system off.
We need tools to debug vampire apps.

This is the best idea I have heard today!

I used to run hrtmon EXTERNAL LINK and a lvl 7 irq on my miggy. Maybe possible to get an ok to include in the Vampire?

Is NMI IRQ built-in to the Vampire so you can just hook a switch up to it on some header to trigger INT7? Would be convenient to have with Asm-Pro for example if you mess something up and want to break your program.

HRTMon built-in to the Vampire would also be very nice. I guess there are fewer license issues including HRTMon than there would be with AR?

AR is built into the ACA500+ so maybe its license has expired and is now free to use? I don't know how these things work, just calling it like I see it. happy to learn though :)

What about the little potentiometer that lets you slow the machine down ?

Some times ago (I guess 15 years or so) copyright law was increased to 75 years in most countries. So I doubt that it is public domain now...

HRTMon is Build in too in the ACA 500+. But i dont know how to use it in WHDLoad. AR MK3 was easyer for me to use it back in the Days. But HRTMon is a Book withen seven seals for me.
