Kipper2K and Majsta have done EXCELLENT work for us....

A HUGE THANK YOU to them both.

It's a job that calls for automation, anyway. There's no need for Kipper2K to burn out doing this, and effectively not making any (or very much) money either.

Why would you think that? It's just kipper that stops doing the V600 boards.
Majsta still makes the V500+ and designed both cards. Majsta hasn't said anything about stopping. :)

Kipper & Majsta should look back at project with a huge sense of pride , and with the Apollo team will go down in the history of the amiga as a hugely positive step forward.

+1 beer for the team all round from me

He was the hardware designer. So maybe  majsta will design it.

No, he wasn't. Majsta did the board design of both v600 and v500 and kipper produced the v600 while majsta does the v500. I assume that from now on majsta will produce both but I don't know.

In here why it writes hardware designer about kipper2k.?

But this is not important. If there is no problem about v1200 and v4000.

kipper2k is a hardware designer, he just didn't design the Vampire main boards. He did design adaptor boards to fit the V500 in the A2000 accelerator slot and the CDTV for example.

I thanks Kippa a lot for all what he did, and for his support. He still owns the fastest-able board, like x16 capable. I wish him the best for the next.

Wait, wait ... we could few of those x16 boards, and THEN he can retire >:-)

Thanks for all the fish, and Kudos, great men!

Very unfortunate...  By the sounds of things, he got burned monetarily with a bunch of "Dud" 600 boards that he paid for and is now unable to sell or return.

"I took a big hit on bad board production recently which has put a huge dent money wise on what  i can and want to do in the future."

This is pretty sad considering his status in our community.  Why wouldn't he be able to at least return the dud boards for good ones?  The discussion seems to have veered off in a different direction with talk of v1200 and v4000's - hardly the point.  Is there nothing to be done to help Kipper out?  The Vampire is a labour of love for many of us but to lose your shirt over it should never happen.

I am going to exhaust all my supply of different projects that i have sitting about and will then kinda fizzle away and just do a few projects only. I don't intend on continuing with making the Vampire 600 boards and i will be exhausting those items also. Thanks for everyones support..

I believe we can helping him by buying whatever he sells ("exhausting the items") incl. V600 if needed. He sais he will NOT make future ones but if I do read correctly, that he will sell whatever he has. So its not full Kudos, just for V600 FUTURE PRODUCTION. As title says too. If I understend well, once inhouse sales ends, he will choose what to do further.

I don't understand....

  He says

"I took a big hit on bad board production recently which has put a huge dent money wise on what  i can and want to do in the future. "

Every CM (contract manufacture)or PCB manufacture that I use are suppose to make it to spec. If they are BAD or test BAD they are suppose to replace it or refund your money.  We know the design works...

I feel very bad for him if he was either bad assembled boards or bad PCBs.  That should not happen.

Sometimes a few will slip into a batch due to human error but the CMs I work with or when I do work for my customers making boards, we take care of that.
