Will we see Vampire accelerators for sale on other Amiga sites like Amigakit or Versalia? Just curious?

Selling them professional will add more costs for tax and so on. In Germany the Vampire 600 would be 80 Euro more expensive. But main problem is slow production. If people want fast delivery and professional production, the price will rise up to 250€, I guess. I would pay that, I dont want to wait for months.

In order to make a fully assembled product available to people the boards would have to be purchased in large batches. This of course costs money which needs to be paid up front. It also increases customs fees as customs on a finished product is much greater than that of the individual parts that are purchased in smaller quantities.
an increased price will prevent some people from being able to buy this product, we are trying to cater for the masses.
As regards waiting, it is the same as waiting for other Amiga products produced by other vendors. There is not a lot of profit to be made in such a small niche market and care must be taken not to over extend. The Vampire is being sold as a "trickle" item instead of a batch and the boards are being sold on an ongoing basis instead of fixed batches. The demand for the V600 has been remarkable, and the manufacturing process is being improved on an ongoing basis. With future releases on the horizon it is going to be a busy year so the best way to avoid waiting is to keep an eye on the forum and irc for pre-order news and get in quick.

OK - thanks for the responses. I was just thinking this might help make the Vampire more widely 'known' among the Amiga community. Thanks!

When the time is right, ALL will know....
And the time is soon.
Probably by the end of this very year, I would say.
I'll be showing off my Amiga/Apollo speed demon, to be sure.
