Green screen in general means that an error with chipram has been detected.  Does it only happen with the Vampire attached?

I had a similar problem and I solved it by changing my CF-Brand to Sandisk.

Green Screen means Chipmem error.
This could in be cause by bad contact to the socket.
Please double check if your V600 became loose.

yeah.. ive just been pressing it in and tightened it up... after a few attempts its working again... I had a lot of trouble (months) of this happening before and I was glad to see the back of it. I haven't touched the A600, does it normally work its way loose? And im guessing there's nothing wrong with my chip ram, just a bad connection?

Additionally securing the Vampire is important part of installation.
It was demoed in all review and testing videos.

If properly secured, Vampire cant get loose. If not additionally
secured, just installed, it has an intention to pop a bit.

06:20 and onwards in Dan Woods video is dedicated to the
installation in A600

If problem completely dissapeared and you find system stable and usable, probably the green screen was way showing connections were bad (since system was unable to use any CPU or chipRAM before secure attachment. That is my my lucky guess, hope you have securited it completely.

Not only is it important to secure it properly so it does not move off, but the CPU pins should also be cleaned well before installation to ensure a good connection.
