What is the team planing?

We plan several new cards for this year.
The standalones are done and under internal testings.
A4000 card will come after V1200

Will this card also work in an A3000 ?

since the CPU-expansion-port is the same,  why not?

Will there be any preorder list.

I skipped the A500 and 1200 version and
am waiting for standalone. If possible
would like to be among first ones to
preorder. Im designing a modern 1200
like case for it in solid works at the
moment that will be produced on a industrial
grade CNC machine.

Are you 100% sure they will use that connection and not a cpu clamp on ala A600?

Don't think so.

That would be insane - if the CPU slot connector is identical in both A3000 and A4000 why would they introduce yet another PCB? Doesn't make sense.

As I understand it (and I could be wrong) those CPU slot connectors are somewhat hard to get .. if they are even available at all.

Do they actually have them for purchase..? (this is much like the square power plug issue, lots of places list the connector but they aren't available) .. Hopefully they are.. or at least available in the quantity that the vampire team would need.

Yes I know they are listed on a few part sites but what I am saying is are the actually available to purchase, eg, do these part sites show they have them in quantity in their inventory..?? As an example why I ask, the Amiga 4 pin power connector is also equally listed on a few big part sites but its not actually manufactured anymore so you can not complete the order process to purchase one from these part sites, they all show zero stock.. This is what I am referring to .. not if they exist in a part catalog.. My original inquiry revolves around if they are still available for purchase.. If these connectors are not actually available, then they have to come up with an alternative means to connect the vampire to the Amiga and if they go the A600 route it could prohibit it being used in anything but an A4000.. Personally as I own an A3000 myself I hope they can go the CPU connector route so the vampire could be used in either ..
