Hello all,

I ear that is better to remove the Kick Rom as it can interfere with the Vampire.
I been using the Vamp with and without the Kick installed and till now didn't notice any difference...

What is the best practice?
My setup : A2000 kick 3.1 Vamp 500V2+

Thank you...

My Vampire 600 works perfectly with my Kickstart 3.1 ROM, I didn't have any need to remove it.

I removed it on my A500 as I went into Problems with a cloanto kickrom 3.1 and the V500 V2+ Version. Without it, it is working just fine.

Vampire comes with its own ROM.
The included Vampire ROM supports 64bit harddrives.

Thank you! So you recommend the old Kick removal?

The physical ROM is completely ignored by the Vampire and just increases power consumption making the polar ice caps melt quicker. Your decision...

Just put the kickrom out of your Amiga and sell it.

"What Problems"

It maybe cannot be refered to the V500 V2+, but to bad contacts of the kickrom, which was several times changed by myself.

Well Nixus, I don't like the sound of that.

Hate to break it to you, but yes, the polar ice caps are melting... :o)
