I tried to update the core via the USB Blaster. I followed the video guide on the Apollo site and checked every steps twice. The flashing software said its all fine with the process. I waited 2 minutes and powered the standalone one. But nothing no boot screnn or something others.

the red led blinks and every time the red led gets power the green led blinks

  I tried:
  STANDALONE_9115.jic
  STANDALONE_9128B.jic
  STANDALONE_8889-R9.jic

both with the same result red and green led blinks

I don't know what i do wrong. I hope some one can help. Thanks!

OK so you updated the Core, and which OS and which version is on your CF?
What happens if you press Both Mouse button to enter early boot?

on the cf  card is ApolloBoot-OMNI-R9-CF-Card.img, if understand correctly apollo os is out of the box in this image and the other must be install manual. if not, have you a only apollo os cf  image with the correspondent core (can also a older version)?

nope if i try to come into the pre mde selection menue, if i remember correctly, no picture. but sometimes if i press the buttons then only the red led is on, but i don't have the apollo mouse on my side at the moment, so there can be problems. Here i have the two button tank mouse (amiga mini) usb an a logitech mouse.

Thanks for your fast answer!

What you describe sounds like a reset done by the OS.
I would suggest to hold both mouse buttons pressed to enter Early boot Menu.

Which core have you flashed right now?
Do you use the current Apollo OS 9.2?

@ the moment: STANDALONE_9115
i tried now directly the ApolloOS_R9.2_Release.img
same behavior.

Hi, after a new try, i removed the cf card while flashing and it was successful. I want, after i was @home from berlin, recreate the problem.

  i tried:
  - CF card in while flashing
  - remove cf card without save eject under windows
  - possible loose contact USB Port on my old notebook

i did the exact same steps as at the time of my strange led problem.

  Every time it is successful.

Could it be the the CF Adapter was not correct in place ?

Sorry i cant recreated the behavior.

At the moment I would say that "Deutsche Bahn" is to blame, probably all trains were on time at the time (LED Problem) in total germany and caused a problem in the space-time continuum.

"remove cf card without save eject under windows" <-- how and why is this a thing? That seems to be a recipe to corrupt the CF card.

Roy, I know.

I just wanted to try out all the options and the not save eject was the last variant (For example, if the USB has a loose contact).

I hadn't done this at the time of the problem.

So I couldn't repeat the Red LED and Green LED blinking behavior.

What program do you use to write the CF?
Do you write with verify? (verify is highly recmmended)

i used win32 disc imager in version 1.8 to write the cf card.

But the "funny thing was" the discribed led behave was with and without cf card and i could not enter the early boot menue. But now its run. And so i must say that i have no other idea

A litte bit frustrierend that i cant recreated the situation, because i work in the IT and i am a person who like to know why comes somthing to a special behavior.
