I know this question has probably been asked before but I wanted to know if booting from MicroSD could be implemented for the Amiga 600, possibly in the next firmware release?

Thank you.

  Thank you.

To enable booting from SDcard, its needed to add partition parsing to the SDcard driver and to include it into the Kickstart rom.

That begs the question - Can sagasd.device be patched so it can be made romable?

Of course this can be made.
Considering that you have a team that develops applications and new games from scratch, that designs the best and most advanced 68K CPU on earth, builds most the powerful 68K FPUs, creates a new 3D accelerator from scratch.

There is really nothing that you can not make, but you can not make everything at the same time. There always has to  be some prioritizing on what to do first.

I found this github site - EXTERNAL LINK  The sagasd.device rom patch has a lot of errors and does not work but looks promising. What do you think?
