Hello, I've had my Firebird accelerator for a few weeks and I love it.  But I need some support with a few things and have not found all the answers on this forum.  Please:

-How do I access help via Discord?
-Is it alright to put some questions here?

Many thanks,
Jools

Congrats on having a FireBird!  I hope to have an IceDrake soon.

Discord is the best place to ask questions, as there tends to be a fair number of folks online to answer questions.

EXTERNAL LINK
Here's an invite to discord. Hopefully this will work for you

It may expire, I didn't double-check that.

And yes, ask questions here or in Discord. #v4-series channel would be the best place to start with that.

Great, thanks.

I've not yet managed to activate SAGA.

I read that if I hold joystick button down as turn on SAGA is activated.  But when I did first two times it almost finished booting then crashed.  And now when I try it does not boot at all.  Power light flashes on and off like it's crashed but then black screen and does not try to boot.  (No early boot menu if hold both mouse buttons on reset and no disk or hard disk light activity.)

Boots ok if I don't hold joystick button down when switch on.

What should I try to get it to boot in SAGA mode?
Will I break Firebird if I try to install the wrong core?  Should I try to install SA_RELEASE6.exe?

Thanks again,
Jools

FireBird cores are usually preceded with FB_

You should ask on v4 DISCORD for the latest.
