Vampire V500+ HDMI Socket Mod

Not sure if many will be interested but quite pleased with the mod I made today. Removed the mono socket from the back of the A500 and fitted a micro DIGITAL-VIDEO socket in its place, other than de-soldering the socket I have not had to modify or cut the metal chassis or plastic case. Conveniently there is a hole in the PCB for a cable tie so seems really secure.

Nice work, I wondered if that was possible, good to know it is. Much nicer solution than cutting a hole in the case for a full size socket in my opinion.
