You're not going to get much help unless you provide more information than that.

What happens exactly when you power on?
Does the A500 work without the Vampire 500 installed?
Have you tried another power supply?
Have you tried the Vampire in another A500?
Has the A500 or power supply been recapped?
What other hardware is attached?

Hi, I would put card back to A500 and measure voltage on C3 for 3.3V, if there is no similar voltage there then cause could be short for some reason or some dead component near that voltage regulator.

C1 = 5 volts
C3 = 0 volts (0.320mVolts)

Guys I love to see that Igor helps to measure to cards.

I would propose you guys meet in IRC,then measuring points and exchanging voltage number will be so much faster and swifter done.

Defective C3 capacitor.
 
 
The voltage must be 3.3volts on c3
