I have read that one but it doesn’t say anything and it is already a month old. Anything newer after that? Aren’t post offices and couriers work by now? As far as I know they do. I have ordered a ton of things during a the previous month and a half and everything came fine!! I really don’t get what the problem is!

Anyway it is a waste of time.

@Tuko

I assume the issue he feels is uncertainty wether or not his order has been recived, or if the process had failed.

Usually when ordering online, you get an automatic response "Thanks for order, which will be processed..." etc

When I ordered the Standalone I also had the same feeling of my order might have not gone thru.

Just saying :)

Those who order first, get served first.  Not even team members can cut the queue!

I am not very convinced of this since someone who paid after me has already received it and I do not know when it will be sent to me.
Patience, I can only wait but I hope as little as possible.

Lucio

Me and my family members been ordering vampire cards for the past 3 years, a total of 6 vampire cards shipped to us, I can confirm that whoever orders first gets served first.

If what you are saying is true, you can easily show us proof of order/delivery

otherwise, I doubt what you are saying is correct

What I would like is a word from the company to say how things are at the moment. Are the orders going ahead; Have they stopped; if they are going ahead then give an indication where the whole process is and where it is going. Majsta wrote a message a  couple of months back and since then nobody else said anything. We try among each other to understand what is happening and if our orders are being processed or not. That is my issue.

The V4 production continues, but shipping is greatly hindered as several parcel companies for the time being stopped shipping into to certain destinations.

As you certainly know the Vampire production needs many parts.
There is of course the PCB, and the main body the FPGA, but there are also hundred of other small parts soldered on the card.
To produce a complete card each of these parts is needed.
Many of these parts come from oversea or ASIA.
As you can easily understand this means that production is also not easy today.
I understood Igor this way that his country did stop parcel to/from oversea - this means he is currently not able to receive parts for production.

With the V4 we have luckily stocked enough parts to keep production running for some month.

Hi,

Fully appreciating the current problems in the world, which as we know continue to be devastating to say the least.  Can I ask if any V4 Standalone units have been shipped?  Maybe I have missed something, but not sure of the current status of the V4. Up until now, I believed that the team were working on ironing out bugs in AROS before shipping, but I could be wrong on this.

I ordered a V4 some time ago, but because of the pandemic realised that building and shipping of them was going to be severely hindered.

Is there a way of finding out if my order has been accepted?  I only really need to know this.  As to when a V4 becomes available, well that's down to the virus problem, and we all have to be patient.

The V4 is worth waiting for!

Yes V4 is produced and shipping.
But in our experience the shipping travel time
can take extra time right depending on the country.

In our experience parcel delivery can at the moment take a week longer then normal and also package/parcel tracking is not regularly updated as normal.
The country parcel service seem to be overloaded because of the pandemie situation.

I have been waiting for two months for a parcel from China. Still waiting. Things are far from fine.

Some things may go reasonably fast, sure, but some will have huge delays.

Hi, I have not received any email for my order. So at the moment have not paid anything. Should I have received an email by now?

Just checked when I ordered via the Apollo web site, and it would have been around about 24th February this year.

I expressed my interest back on the 30th of December for a 1200 version, but have never received email since.

I've checked every day since, including my spam folder.

But I'm now seeing that people have ordered afterwards, and recieved theirs. I've of others who have expressed interest the 600, but never heard anything back since either.

I'm not complaining, and I understand how the world is right now.

I'm just a little confused with, have people ordered or expressed interest and got their 1200 version later than me, and got theirs already. If so, there's been a problem with the database!

I think he is talking about the V4 and not the Amiga A1200 version.  I do not get the reluctance to let people know what date they are currently on.  That would be really easy to let people know , without any data protection issues.

I registered  my interest for the amiga a1200 version on 30/12/2019,  so I know they are not up to this date yet

Shipping of V1200 are related to orders up to 23th of December, I think.

Yesterday Igor shipped the V1200 to an Italian member I know, who ordered on that date.

Take in consideration that a very huge number of orders has been made since preorders opened on 22th of December, especially in the first 24-48 hours.

When my order was available I got an email.

When it was shipped I got an email.

My only advice to the team is to possibly let people know when there orders will could be ready and update them as status change.

Additionally, the shipping took a long time but I was told it would.  I think it was around 2 month from when I got the shipping email to when I got the item.  Tracking information did not show much either.

@Lucio Morassutti Hi, I think that I have explained everything to you over mail. But, lets do it publicly now.
Several cards who should be sent to Italy where users expressed interest same day but paid upon request on various dates. Last day when I was able to go to post office was 9.3. Everything after that was impossible. So 6 cards, 5 to Italy and one for France is total number of paid but not sent.
On 29.4. I have send 5 and your card is sent yesterday.
From 28.4. I got info that I can send to Italy again but not to every area. My fault is that somehow I have informed everyone about this situation over mail but you. My mistake and I apologize for that. I hope that everything will be fine but clearly if something goes wrong I will resolve that.

I still didn't clear pre-orders from 23.12.2019. I have more cards ready but I don't want to contact anyone yet until I m 100% sure that everything is back to normal. Problems didn't disappear yet and my main concern is that I can't receive anything from USA and this is major drawback for me. Tried to compensate that with my local electronic shop.

I cannot speak for others, but I think many feel the same way, and that is a confirmation that an order has been received would be helpful.  I am not expecting anything else in these difficult times.

I would suspect my order for a V4 Stand-alone is in the system, but it just feels a little like a black hole, the order is sucked in without knowing what has happened to it.

I fully appreciate that this is not like Amazon's fully automated web site, but instead run by a small team. Personally, am happy to wait patiently for something worth waiting for!

I believe, what all these posts from the people posting on this forum add up to is real excitement for the product, which is a good thing to have.

Is it possible to have the order page send an automated confirmation e-mail?  This way at least, the customer would get some idea that the order has likely been accepted and not lost in the void.

Yea just an automated confirmation email would be appreciated .. at least it lets folks know "yep we got your interest and that the email we will contact you is this one you are reading" ..

I know I expressed interest only a couple months ago and I dont realistically expect to hear anything with all the COVID stuff happening .. but an automated email would be reassuring.
