Do you mean a blank, CF card? Or one with an OS on it? Ebay? that's where everyone else goes

| I mean a blank one and are there any specific brands I should look for? I used SD cards in my A600 but I see every one using CF cards with the v1200

I use SANDISK Cf cards. They work very well. In principle, they should all work but as always there are exceptions. We have a small list of cards known to work here:https://wiki.apollo-accelerators.com/doku.php/vampire:compatible_cf To be honest, I have never bothered to check the CF card brand or type before buying. They have all worked for me but I have mostly bought SANDISK cards.

Take my advice, use Sandisk CF cards, don't ever use anything else :)

| And how come CF rather than SD cards, is that just your preference?

CF Cards, are UDMA compatible like Hard Drives, so all they really need is an interface adapter, and the CF card looks and acts like a HD. SD Cards, need an IDE adapter to do some of the heavy lifting, and the controller to make it all act like a HD. Some people love them, i have had nothing but grief with SD cards, and if I am honest, i have alot of trouble with CF cards that aren't Sandisk. Sandisk are just, better quality.
