Gold Core.

Hi. Im on Silvercore 5. Can i jump straight to the gold core.

And if so is there any tutorials on what I need updating.

After alot of headache I sent my amiga off for repair and set up so im not sure whats installed. Its OS3.9 but im not sure if BB2 is on there?

Can i check this somehow and then, is there a step by step guide on where to patch it.

Also.
How can I check and update the other stuff. SDcard, SAGA, Picasso 96 etc.

You can go back and forth of S5 and G1. Latest drivers and core you can download from:

hi.. i got the latest drivers but im a bit worried about flashing it before understanding the stuff about the bb2 patch?

"Since GOLD core, you need to set your SetPatch command in Startup-Sequence like this :
SYS:C/SetPatch NOROMUPDATE QUIET"

Any chance u can walk me through it?

I'm now on the Silver core 9 and running OS3.9. to go to the Gold core I have to modify setpatch to NOROMUPDATE.
Wich benefits will i miss from the OS3.9 kickstart patch?
Why can't we use setpatch for the gold core?
What has Gold core patched in the kickstart 3.1?

When is Gold core 2 foreseen?
If it's in next weeks I prefer to wait :)
Any news on the change list yet?
