Could someone explain to me when A600 chipRAM is used vs FastRAM on Vampire and what output we are getting from the AMIGA (either say RGB out on the Amiga or DIGITAL-VIDEO out from Vampire, in following cases:

Alt 1: current implementation
1. Old 15kHz OCS/ECS games
2. 32 color WB 640x480
3. 15kHz low res games but with RTG
4. 16-bit color WB 800x600 (This one is obviously DIGITAL-VIDEO out)

Alt 2: Future SAGA implementation
1. Old 15kHz OCS/ECS games
2. Old 15kHz AGA games
3. 15kHz low res games but with RTG
4. 16-bit color WB 800x600 ( --''-- )

Thanx

  Alt 1.
  1. RGB, Chipmem for gfx + fast for data if game support fastmem
  2. RGB, Chipmem (im guessing you mean a normal NTSC Hires Laced) (the use of FBlit or smilar can move stuff to fastmem)
  3. DIGITAL-VIDEO Fastmem
  4. DIGITAL-VIDEO Fastmem

  Alt 2.
  1. DIGITAL-VIDEO, Fastmem (Chip is same speed as fastmem)
  2. DIGITAL-VIDEO, Fastmem (Chip is same speed as fastmem)
  3. DIGITAL-VIDEO, Fastmem (Chip is same speed as fastmem)
  4. DIGITAL-VIDEO, Fastmem (Chip is same speed as fastmem)

  My guess :)

The released Silver Core provides all old GFX modes over the normal Amiga Video out.

The Silver core can in addition to this provide you fast 640x480 in 8bit/15bit/16bit over the Digital Video out.
