The V4 comes shipped with 128 GB IDE Flashdrive.
You can change this for a bigger CF flash Drive if you like.

Regarding max size of SDcard, honestly I not know.

hi , oke i have try with a extreme cf adapter with 2 1tb mirco sd card into the adapter and try to get it works on the vampire v4 , but no it wil not be works every time when i try to format i get this error seek failure , the same when i try to format a 400gb mirco sd from scandisk or a 1tb , everytime problems ,

why is it not posable to get more space on the vampire , i buy this to run myn bbs onit but for the price its sucks that the vampire wil not read space more then 128gb

the max that i can use of the 2tb are 200gb , the rest is not posable to format the order disk i get the error seek failure even when i make the first disk bigger then 200gb ,

I assume the "cheap" adapter that you use creates you the problems.
The adapter you mention is known to have limits, problems/issues.
On the box of the "extreme cf adapter" it reads:
    Support capacity: 8MB ~ 128GB
If this is correct then what you try is not supported by this adapter.

I would not recommend you to use this cheap adapter with 500 Euro worth of SDcard as you want to.
Please contact us on our official support channel and we can give you advice.

Can you please help me understand why you post this here and not on our support discord channel where every customer got access to.

Which filesystem are you using?

Are you aware that AMIGA filesystem like AMIGA FFS support a maximum partitions size 127 GB  ?
Amiga PFS supports maximum 100 GB partition size.
Amiga SFS supports maximum 127 GB partition size.

Please understand that you need to split bigger drives in several partitions. If you not do this, then this can not work under Amiga OS.

Btw: You did not answer my question, were you not invited to the discord channel?

Hi,

Do these work on the Vampire IDE slot and are they recommended or needed?

Will be connecting a CF Card and a sata dvd burner (via two adapters).

  Thanks

Why dont you just mount a SD card extender in the CDrom Slot? I dont understand the amount of CD-Rom fanatics I see on here and on discord when we have a ultra fast, ultra convinient SDCard slot to transfer data!

Did you set MAX transfer size correctly?

If you mean something like the 4xEIDE'99 - I've been told it works on the V4SA, and probably also works on the V2 for that matter.

(I know one of the v4 testers has one on his V4...)

Realise I’m reviving an old thread, but do you know which actual buffered IDE adaptor worked on the V4SA? I have a V4SA with just the single IDE port. Keen to move to two IDE ports without trying to reinstate the second IDE connector on the V4SA board, so I can stick a CD drive on the second IDE channel. I already own the current AmigaKit Buffered IDE interface, but don’t know if that would work on the V4SA (or if it would damage it if tried). All advice gratefully received. Thanks.
