I have installed the Vampire v2.2 in my recapped A600 with a A-Power PSU from Amigastore.eu.

Image of internals: EXTERNAL LINK
But at boot there seems to be some strange mouse issues. The cursor is moving OK but the buttons are not responding - and its like its randomly clicking and holding every now and then.

Here is a video:

The mouse did not behave like this when I loaded Workbench 2.1 from floppy before the Vampire installation.

Also at the first power on screen (with the option to hold Ctrl or Alt etc for different boot options) the keyboard does not seem to be responding if I for example hold Ctrl - However the normal Amiga reset of Ctrl + A + A seems to work fine.

What should I try doing to pinpoint this issue? Does anyone recon it ?

What are the version of your core and vampiregfx.driver you use?
If you have a pre-2.12 core and use the vampiregfx.driver Simo posted in the 2.12 thread you can have issues with your mouse pointer.

It looks likes it is receiving Joystick button pressed signals...
But you don't have a Joystick connected, do you?

I am a bit of a noob here so I am not sure. But its from the latest batch here. Got it like 5 weeks ago. How can I check the version?

No - just a mouse connected. Would it be possible to control the mouse cursor here with a joystick? I have 2 tic tacs in the cupboard.

Remove the mouse, power on. Same issue? does it boot to ATAri?

i would also remove everything from the A600 to properly test. Rom, you don't need it anyway,Indivision etc.

Could you please also test to run this from the Early Startup -> CLI, with and without Vampire EXTERNAL LINK
