2. have a a500 rev.6a motherboard in perfect shape (no-corrosion)
3. works great with 68000 and kick 3.1.4
4. install vampire card firmly seated red and white scrambled screen off rgb, switch to hdmi no boot logo or splash screen
5. get second a500 same thing nothing on hdmi red / white scrambled screen
6. try a2000 rev. 6.2 motherboard same thing
7. clean socket contacts etc. on all nothing
8. get usb blaster follow directions to tee flash new core say 100% completed reboot amiga nothing red scrambled screen
9. re-flash again nothing same red/white scrambled screen
10. pull hair out, go drink beer!!

can anyone please help me out here? need all the help I can get or did I have bad luck and I have to send it back?
I don't wanna believe that my vampire card is bricked its dead or a lemon.

Have you tried it without the 3.14 Kickstart ROM installed? Red Generally hints at an issue with the kickstart ROM. From what I understand having it installed isn't needed and likely using the 3.9 based kickstart built into the Vampire anyway, to boot Amiga OS 3.14, likely requires some maprom feature I never used before, there are explanations somewhere in this forum if you search for it.

Vampire needs a ROM as a file to be MapROMed or flashed

I have never heard of anyone installing Vamp to A500 with physical A500 ROM 3.1.4. That could cause some incompatibility.

That is just a through, if you could revert to 3.1 ROM and try, that would eliminate it.
