I apologize if this has been asked before, but how do I get sound out of my Amiga now that the DIGITAL-VIDEO is hooked up.  There is no sound on the monitor at all.  Is there a setting to make it work?

The V2 always relies on the Paula chip for sound it is Video only over the DIGITAL-VIDEO, so you need to still use the Amiga outputs.

I believe the Gold 3 core has audio over the digital output via the Pamela implementation.

I assume You have Your Amiga connected via a Scart2DIGITAL-VIDEO box.
If You then switch to the DIGITAL-VIDEO the sound is stuck in the Scart-box.
I just connect a small Stereo speaker box to the Amiga outputs.
  Like this for instance:
  EXTERNAL LINK
But take care, this guy asking 1000€  :)  I think an error because i paid 10€ a few weeks ago.

This box is not really high quality but good enough for me ..as I am almost depht on one ear. :)

Your Amiga has 2 CINCH audio out connectors (white/red) connect them to your HIFI.
