Will this thing have some impact on apollo team's next products?
Maybe a possibility for v4 standalone to be named "Amiga Mk2"??

The Amiga IP remains a mess with parties claiming rights in various jurisdictions. Whilst that remains the case using the Amiga brand even if supposedly licensed would be fraught with legal risks.

Cloanto are more likely to want the brand for an ARM based "Amiga mini" emulator than for 680x0 hardware.

If Amiga Inc. are finally out of sitting on the Amiga name that could be a good thing for the brand in the long run if the disputes are settled.

Yes, an "amiga-mini" emulation console-like device seems the more prpbable solution. But it would be aimed to the casual gamer rather than the hobby computer enthusiast (as the vampire public is). From what I know Battilana is a reasonable person and surely a better interlocutor than Amiga Inc and Hyperion to deal with..

Dear Stefano,

Is there a proof Cloanto has worldwide licensing rights to Amiga name (as sadly Amiga inc last had).

Vamp tries to avoid it in distant circles, since its legal mambo jumbo + licensing fee (CUSA claimed was quite high with Amiga Inc per product).
